Youth Basketball Training in The Woodlands
December & January Basketball Classes in The Woodlands
Give your player structure and pace that match their growth. These classes connect footwork, ball control, finishing, and shooting to real game decisions — so confidence shows up on game day.
“We tried 2 other local basketball programs before we met Coach Deon back in 2020/2021. My son has been in his program ever since. Coach D and his team does an excellent job teaching and strengthening the fundamental skills of basketball into their players.”
— Crystal Wueste
For players with solid basics who are ready to move faster. We connect footwork, ball control, finishing, and shooting to game situations and decision-making. Expect crisp reps, small-sided play, and clear standards that push growth.
- Quicker pace with accountability and feedback
- Game-linked skill work (read, decide, execute)
- Confidence through structure and repetition
Ninety minutes split between ball-handling development and shooting mechanics. Players learn to handle pressure, move with purpose, and build a consistent, repeatable shot — then apply it in game-like sequences so the skill sticks.
- Ball-handling under pressure and purposeful movement
- Shot foundation: stance, rhythm, release, repeatability
- Game-speed reps with decision points
This class is for players who already understand their shooting mechanics and now need structured, high-quality reps to make their shot consistent. We focus on rhythm, balance, timing, and shot speed so the same shot shows up under pace, pressure, and fatigue.
- High-repetition shooting in a teaching-focused environment
- Guided reps that strengthen timing, balance, and range
- Habits and routines that carry from practice to games
If your player is still learning the basics of shooting — stance, rhythm, balance, or release — this January Shooting Reps Class may move too quickly. Beginners will see much better progress in the Fundamentals First – Shot Builder Class.
- Perfect for beginners and developing shooters
- Clear, patient instruction on shooting foundations
- Confidence-building environment with structured teaching
This class is for players who already have a solid dribbling foundation and are ready to take the next step. Over three sessions, your player will build stronger ball control, pace, rhythm, and composure under pressure through structured, game-relevant dribbling work.
- Intermediate-level ball-handling with accountability and feedback
- One-on-one and movement-based dribbling reps with purpose
- Habits that help players stay organized and confident vs. pressure
If your player is still learning the basics of dribbling — ball control, pace, balance, or coordination — this January Intermediate Ball-Handling & Control Class may move too quickly. Beginners will see much stronger progress in the Fundamentals First – Dribbling Foundations Class.
- Perfect for beginners and developing players
- Clear, patient instruction on proper dribbling foundations
- Confidence-building environment with structured teaching
What you’ll gain: Skills, Confidence, Character
